Please note: • Volunteers must agree to be treated as employees and do not have any other benefit other than the opportunity to give back to the community. • Volunteer must sign VITA Agreement Form, Volunteer Compliance Officer. • The VITA volunteer must agree to follow the Minnesota Volunteer Standards of Conduct. • The VITA volunteer agrees to be fully accountable to the Minnesota Volunteer Standards of Conduct. Training Hours Training is available two on one and two on three (two hours on each subject) and are available as online instruction only. VITA volunteers must meet these qualifications: • Have 5-8 years of tax experience (minimum of 10) and/or have tax return preparation experience. • Be 18 years of age or older. • Provide written certification of completion of tax preparation training and agreement to follow Minnesota Volunteer Standards of Conflict Resolution.
